Betty White “Died of Natural Causes”, Agent Denies Related Rumors

Betty White’s Cause of death has been revealed. Award-winning TV legend passed away on Friday (December 31) aged 99. Her agent has now confirmed the star died of “natural causes”. Betty White’s agent and close friend Jeff Witjas issued a statement saying,

“Betty died peacefully in her sleep at her home.”

Witjas also shoot down claimed rumors Betty White just received a COVID-19 booster shot on December 28 and that may have played a part in her death.

“People are saying her death was related to the booster shot three days earlier, but that’s not true. She died of natural causes.. Her death should not be politicized – it was not the life she lived. ”

Jeff Witjas goes on to admit that while Betty White had grown old, he thought she would be here forever. He say,

“Even though Betty is almost 100 years old, I think she will live forever. I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world she so loved. I don’t think Betty is afraid to die because she always wants to be with her dearest husband, Allen Ludden. She believed that she would be with him again.”

Ludden and White were married from 1963 until his death in 1981. According to reports, White’s “last words” were “Allen” – her late husband.

The eight-time Emmy Award winner’s death comes just weeks before the milestone’s 100th birthday. Betty White has the longest active career of any woman in television history, starring in multiple shows over the past eight decades, starting in 1939. Her most famous role was when she played Rose Nylund in “The Golden Girls”, which ran from 1985 to 1992, and is still loved by many to this day.

In the following years, Betty White make sure to stay relevant by guest starring on several TV Shows and movies like “30 Rock,” “Boston Legal”, “The Simpsons”, “The Bold and The Beautiful” and “The Proposal”. She even hosted “Saturday Night Live” in 2010 at the age of 88, making her the oldest person ever to host. Her SNL performance was so well received, that she was awarded her seventh Emmy from the performance.
