Best and Worst Dressed at the People’s Choice Awards 2021 – WWD

This year’s fashion at the People’s Choice Awards has a lot to look forward to.

Addison Rae: 2
The TikTok star is delivering boho chic with a hint of Stevie Nicks. This Betsey Johnson classic is girly and airy, yet has a bit of a high school dance vibe. Collars that were stacked on top of each other had no effect.

The Rock: 3
This look is a matador-responsive-action figure. There’s something very waxy about the whole thing. It’s hard to wear his muscular body, but the leather jacket suits him well.

Halle Berry: 3
Is she auditioning for a “Catwoman” sequel? There’s no denying that Halle Berry has always looked beautiful; However, this sequined bodysuit feels a bit awkward. The stitching details and loose belt give it an eerie look.

Chase Stokes: 1
Here’s the glamorous Dracula of the 70s – not a compliment, unfortunately. We’re distracted by the strap that randomly pops out of the jacket – what’s its function? What is it holding? And the hair is a bit of “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.”

Paris Jackson: 4
She looks like a punk princess in this Vivienne Westwood. The dress frames her tattoo to perfection, while the fishnet and plaid background enhance the rock-‘n’-roll feel.

Iman Shumpert: 3
This is a somewhat confusing endeavor. We like the two-tone jacket as a concept, but coupled with the leather and nylon backing and all the jewelry, it becomes overwhelming.

Sydney Sweeney: 3
This is a very cute evening gown. The red lips and nails make it festive, and the bow detailing adds a playful touch to the mini silhouette.

Laverene Cox: 3.5
Dressed in the Pantone of 2022, Cox captivated us with the color of her hair that matched the dress. But Muppet’s layered dress is a bit too much.
