Mendy pleaded not guilty to all but the last charge last month, which has not yet been presented to him, and he has yet to file a plea.
He was suspended from the club after being charged by police.
When will he be brought to justice?
An order had barred the media from publishing the latest indictment until the order was overturned by Recorder of Chester Judge Steven Everett during a hearing at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday.
He will be tried before a jury on July 25 alongside co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, 40, who has also pleaded not guilty to all the charges he faces.
What is Benjamin Mendy accused of?
The latest allegation, which relates to a new complainant, means the 27-year-old faces eight counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted rape, relating to seven women between October 2018 and last August.
Matturie, from Eccles, Salford, denies eight counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault involving eight women between July 2012 and August last year.
