Bellator 265 arrives in South Dakota, adds Lara vs Bennett . match

Bellator is heading to South Dakota and they’ve turned up an exciting women’s flyweight match for the event.

Bellator 265 will take place at the Sanford Pentagon on August 20 in Sioux Falls, SD Alejandra Lara compare to DeAnna Bennett, which originally expected for Bellator 263 in Los Angeles on July 31, has been moved to the August 20 event.

Lara (9-4 MMA, 3-3 BMMA) appears to be back on the winning column after a decisive loss to Japan’s Kana Watanabe at Bellator 255 in April. Before being defeated, Lara had won head-to-head matches against Taylor Turner and Veta Arteaga. The 26-year-old man fights in the Lobo gym in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Meanwhile, Bennett (10-7-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) started to get his first Bellator win. The former Invicta FC title challenger lost his promotional debut to top contender Liz Carmouche in September. Bennett competed on season 26 of the UFC’s reality show “The Ultimate Fighter.”
