The Council of Europe’s human rights commissioner, Dunja Mijatovic, on Friday said the situation at the border was “alarming” and she called for urgent action to protect the lives of stranded migrants. She accused both sides of forgetting the rights of migrants, after a four-day mission to Poland’s border with Belarus.
