Battlefield 2042 Season One has been delayed until summer

Early life of Battlefield 2042 has not been easy. Its launch has been quite difficult, with many fans feeling as if it lacks some key features found in previous installments. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be improving. At least not soon. In one tweet posted earlier todayDICE developer has confirmed that Part One of Battlefield 2042 has been postponed.

Although an official release date has not been provided by previous data miners who have provided information indicating that Part One will Released in March. This is in line with community expectations. However, if this was the original plan it is no longer available. To replace, Battlefield 2042 players will have to wait until summer to try out the new content.

The post clarifies that a smaller update is coming Battlefield 2042 before Season One drops. This update will launch in early March and will include improvements to the in-game scoreboard. Subsequent updates will prioritize the implementation of voice chat, a tweaked ping system, improved gunplay, and a more attractive bonus round.

When it arrives in the summer, Season One will add some much-needed new content. The tweet promises that both new experts and maps are in the works. This won’t be news that everyone wants to hear, like some traditional news Battlefield Fans have been unimpressed with the game’s expert system, but it at least confirms that meaningful content is in development.

The road to recovery

At this time, Battlefield 2042 is in a predicament, and even the release of Season One can’t fix that alone. Much of its player base has left, with interest in the game dwindling by the day.
