Battlefield 2042 has been on a rocky road since its launch and has a lot of problems in the game.
The ill-fated debut made fans angry with the game’s final product. In light of this incident, a number of fans rallied to petition EA to refund those who purchased the latest installment in the Battlefield franchise across all platforms.
Above change.org, more than 100,000 people have signed a petition pledging to support this initiative to give players a chance to get their money back on games regardless of which platform they purchased the game from. The petition’s initiator, Satoshi Nakamoto, said the game was a “mockery to every customer who purchased as a result of EA’s false advertising.”
“According to numerous consumer reports, Electronic Arts and DICE did not keep many of their promises at launch, and Battlefield 2042 was rendered unplayable,” the petition reads.
The petition also mentions the fact that Steam has provided customers of Battlefield 2042 on its service for a full refund for the game due to its poor launch. Additionally, the petitions argue that with support from the signatories, they would pursue legal action against the EA.
