Battlefield 2042 Complaint List

To say that Battlefield 2042 had a rocky debut would be an understatement, as many players have found it to be a disappointment on many fronts. This list is specifically about pre-existing features Battlefield title is missing word Battlefield 2042 or specifically worse in the new title. It’s a huge and exhausting list, divided into sections including Core Features, Infantry Games, Vehicles, Scoring, etc. There’s too much to list here, but a few. highlights worthy of special mention. One, below Squad and Teamwork is the lack of “medical arrival” notifications in previous games, although this will obviously appear in a future patch. One improved medical UI suggested by another player can help paramedics reach their target faster, but the announcement will let the player know they can stay instead of quickly moving on to the next inventory.

A major complaint lies in the Audio section, which talks about the poor sound quality in Battlefield 2042. For clarity, this is separate from complaining about the soldiers’ lines, which players mostly object to due to their fun tone. Complaints instead focus on the poor overall sound quality, including the almost non-existent 3D sound scene. In a game where death can come from anywhere, not being able to hear what’s around a character is often fatal.

Scoring also has many signs of shame, mainly focusing on how many scoring criteria have been dropped. There’s no whole team score, player or vehicle damage score, long range headshot/kill bonus, or return bonus, just a few points missing from older titles. The scoreboard itself is also something to complain about, causing a player to have to redesign Battlefield 2042scoreboard of complete.

Also mentioned are professionals, a common complaint among Battlefield 2042 the players felt they did much less for the game than the classes have now been stripped of, to the point where some players think Battlefield 2042 supposed to be a battle royale. Other highlights from the list include:

  • No single player story/campaign mode

  • There is no durable corridor

  • No global leader board

  • Fewer guns

  • Do not dive while swimming

  • No high arches

  • Don’t bow your head to sprint

  • No reverse trend

  • Fewer vehicle types (and separate vehicle progression for each faction even though they are functionally identical)

  • No group chat

  • No team has changed

  • No “create new squad” option

  • Fewer buildings destroyed

  • Very poor balance between vehicle and infantry gameplay

  • There is no map that focuses on infantry

  • There are no games that change the resolution

  • Absolutely no coverage between shooting areas
