After launching in a happy, albeit difficult, battlefield, Battlefield 2042 has need some improvementand luckily EA and DICE are doing it, as Update 2 is live now.
Focused mainly on improving weapon spread and reducing the power of extremely powerful building-scaling hover constructions, this update may not be the biggest one yet , but it’s an important step in regaining Battlefield 2042’s reputation.
You can read Full patch notes for the 0.2.2 update here if you want, but in short you can expect all guns except shotguns to be slightly more accurate, PP-29 SMGs to be more balanced and vehicles to be less destructive at ranges erotic. Update 0.2.2 also returns the UAV-1 To Battlefield Portal, although the healing amount is significantly reduced.
While Update 2 won’t spin Battlefield 2042 Around overnight, EA announced that there are more updates in the works, which will hopefully do the trick. In a recent Introduction to the battlefield, EA explains that Update 3 will arrive in early December “with numerous bug fixes, significant changes, and more importantly, Quality of Life improvements coming to the game.”
Since its sensational launch, Battlefield 2042 has landed itself in a position no one can surpass as one of the Steam’s worst game of all time. Currently, Battlefield 2042 is ranked 12th on the list of worst games, with only 28% of the reviews being positive. Although this is absolutely terrifying, it is at least 11 orders of magnitude higher than eFootball, still wearing the tinted crown Worst game on Steam.
