Battlefield 1 and all its DLC are free to play on Steam this weekend

Battlefield 1 play for free on Steam right now and until the weekend. All its expansions are also free.

If you liked it and you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber? Then until August 4th you can get it free to keep.

Battlefield 1 is EA Dice’s confusingly named World War 1-set shooter, and clearly a precursor to Battlefield V. That is: pretty good. In his Review Battlefield 1, Brendy said it was “safe good.”

Even with the addition of Active mode and the big stuff and the instinctive return to a more dramatic setting, it still feels like Battlefield. There are arrest points and there are guns. There is deathmatch and there is conquest. There are spam alleys and grenade sniping and miracle bomb dive pilots who can somehow use horrendous flight controls. The Great War may be unique, but Battlefield 1 is not.

Brendy also had a great time trying to find a nice cottage in the French countryside in war.

My interest in Battlefield has been rekindled by the recent announcement of Battlefield 2042, and special Its Portal Mode. I was a big player of the series from 1942 to Battlefield 3, so a version that allows me to combine elements – rules, units, items, maps – from those older games has Looks like a great time for me.

I also enjoyed playing Battlefield 1. It has horses. You can find it on Steam here. | Battlefield 1 and all its DLC are free to play on Steam this weekend
