Batgirl starts filming with a set of photos with clues to the story
The movie Batgirl starring Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon has begun filming and the directors have shared the official logo in a set of BTS photos.
Bat girl Fans have received some welcome news regarding the DC hero’s upcoming HBO Max movie. Produced on Bat girl Filming has officially begun and the directors have shared a behind-the-scenes photo that provides some clues to the story.
Batgirl’s main hero will be playing Leslie Grace, who recently starred in the musical movie In the heights. In the comics, Batgirl is also the daughter of Gotham City Commissioner James Gordon (played by JK Simmons), who at this point in the plot is very related to Batman.
Recently, Bat girl Co-director Adil El Arbi shared a set of photos on Instagram to announce the start of production. The official set of photos officially revealed Bat girl but it also provides clues as to how the film will portray Barbara Gordon. A plaque on the table reads “Officer Barbara Gordon”, indicating that Grace’s version of the character will be an officer with the Gotham City Police Department. This means that Grace’s Batgirl is much older compared to the teenage crime fighter many people are used to seeing in comics, movies, and shows before.
The second thing to note is that the set also has a book on coding placed on the table titled Code book. Diehard fans will likely see this as a nod to Barbara Gordon’s Oracle identity. In the comics, after being confined to a wheelchair by the Joker, Barbara Gordon becomes Batman and Robin’s computer hacking assistant, working from the Batcave as the eyes and ears of the dynamic duo. It looks like the filmmakers are at least establishing the possibility for Grace’s Batgirl to play a similar role or at least share her comic book counterpart’s hacking skills.
With the return of JK Simmons, fans can assume that this version of Bat girl takes place in the same universe as the one set up by Zack Snyder for his movies (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Alliance justice). Nothing is official until the project’s release, but it’s definitely welcome news for fans who had hoped to see more of the dark world created by the famous director. . The directors have even hinted at some versions of Batman appearing in Bat girl.
Keep in mind that none of this is confirmed until the project’s release, but for many it’s fun to speculate. Talent associated with Bat girl is something remarkable and the project is in great hands. Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Bat girl also the stars Brendan Fraser as DC Firefly villain. With Loki composer Natalie Holt performed the film’s musical and Christina Hodson (Bee, Birds of prey, and The Flash) wrote the script for Bat girl, fans can expect something of a really good quality to drop by the end of next year.
