Batgirl Movie Theater: Blue Beetle Movies Not Just Streaming Anymore

Fans were hoping that a Movie Batgirl The theatrical release was made possible by the announcement of the Blue Beetle’s theatrical release rather than just streaming it on HBO Max, as originally planned. Batgirl HBO Max Release seems to have been confirmed along with Blue Beetle earlier this year but now fans are hoping to see the Batgirl movie in theaters – although, if it does, it could be delayed to 2023.

For now, the Batgirl movie is still only streaming on HBO Max, though fans are hoping that will change and the movie will be released in its entirety in theaters. This follows news today that the movie Blue Beetle, directed by Angel Manuel Soto and Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, will be released in theaters on August 18, 2023, after all. It joins Shazam 2, releasing in June 2023. It’s possible that the lack of confirmed DC movies in 2023 is what gave Warner Bros an incentive to push Blue Beetle to theaters.

Fans are currently hoping that the Batgirl movie will be involved, although that could mean postponing the release date to 2023 as the series is currently airing on HBO Max in November 2022 – this will go head-to-head with The Flash and Aquaman 2 in December.

GWW Editor-in-Chief KC Walsh – who recently leaked rumors about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’s Villain and Peacemaker leads The Suicide Squad 2 – still believes that Batgirl will hit theaters.

Given that the Batgirl movie could be set in the DCEU and there’s a chance there’ll be Batman in it, a theatrical release could be a natural fit if Warner Bros. is looking to push its cinematic medium into 2023 – especially Batgirl’s. will basically have her own game next year, too.
