Bailey, Jamaica qualifies for final in mixed 4x400m relay at Tokyo Olympics

TOKYO, Japan (KTSM) — Former UTEP observe standout, Sean Bailey, is one step nearer to the rostrum on the Tokyo Olympics. Bailey, operating for Jamaica within the blended 4×400 meter relay, made his Olympic debut on Friday and helped raise Jamaica to the finals of the occasion.
Bailey ran the primary leg of the race with the Jamaicans ending third general with a time of three:11.46. Poland completed in first with the Netherlands coming in second general.
Monitor and area is a family tradition for the Bailey’s. His older sister, Veronica Campbell Brown, ran at 5 Olympics, successful eight medals with three of them gold.
Saturday’s closing will happen at 6:35 a.m. MT. The Tokyo Olympics airs solely on KTSM (NBC).
