B1T reveals what motivates him to play CS:GO, Journey with NAVI, Goals for 2022

Youngest player on Natus Vincere’s (NAVI) active CS:GO roster, Valery “b1t” Vakhovsky, is preparing for the upcoming season after dropping out of the league in 2021, his first year on the first-tier circuit.

Not only is he named ‘PC Rookie of the Year’ at the Esports Awards 2021, but also earned 9th place on the ‘Top 20 CS:GO Players of 2021’ list. HLTV. These accolades are a direct result of him winning prestigious LAN tournaments like PGL Major Stockholm 2021, Intel Grand Slam Season 3, IEM Cologne 2021, BLAST Premier: World Final 2021 and more alongside NAVI .

To celebrate the personal success of b1t, NAVI has released a interview recently shared about the 19-year-old’s journey to 2021, what keeps him motivated to keep playing and his goals for the coming year.

B1T Shares His Journey In CS:GO With NAVI To 2021

The talented rookie looks confident and ready to enter his second year in CS:GO. But, before entering the new season, b1t talked about his journey throughout 2021, which will surely go down in Counter-Strike history as a prime example of the perfect debut.

Talking about certain key moments with NAVI last year, b1t started by saying that his goal was to win everything he could. Starting his journey by competing in online events, NAVI got off to a successful start as they won DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 and StarLadder CIS RMR 2021. However, b1t feels that he personally still has can play better.

Going into his first LAN tournament – IEM Cologne 2021, b1t says he doesn’t have time to worry as he only thinks about the match. Followed by NAVI winning the Intel Grand Slam and Stockholm Major that b1t showed, “I was so happy! It’s great to win, especially the big tournaments”.

Now a year later, b1t is still motivated and looking forward to the upcoming season. When asked what excites him to keep moving forward, he said,

As for what he wants to achieve in 2022, b1t says he wants to be the best in the world and keep getting better with every match. The youngster seems to be on the right track and if everything goes right for NAVI, this could be another successful year for the CIS organization.
