Team Secret’s Baron Laner Eleazar”Azar“Salle made some bold remarks after his team beat Team Queso in day three of League of Legends: Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021. After a 2-0 wipeout victory it looks to be going well for Team. Secret against Team Queso in the group stage, the Filipino mid laner expressed his disappointment with Team Queso’s performance through a post-match interview. The rivalry between the two teams started when Spain’s Queso team, Team Queso, posted a meme aimed at Philippine team (PH), Team Secret, igniting a fire between fans and the team itself.

Team Secret asserts dominance against Team Queso on the third day of the 2021 Horizon Cup Group Stage

Day three of the 2021 Horizon Cup was in full swing as Team Secret’s Azar made some bold statements about Team Queso’s performance during their match in the group stage.

The match between the PH team and the Spain team took place no less interesting. Team Queso took the lead early in the game but eventually fell to Team Secret with their quick and aggressive rotation.

Team Queso used the combo Draven and Braum in the first match in hopes of bringing the team to their side. However, Team Secret was so ahead in terms of resources that Tobias Andy “by heart“Orendi’s Braum can’t withstand the damage that Team Secret deals in teamfights.

Team Secret continued to dominate in the second game when choosing to fight between Lucian and Gragas in the dragon lane. During teamfights, team PH split Team Queso’s lineup, leaving them in very bad situations.

The final match ended with Team Secret winning 2-0 against Team Queso.

Team Secret’s Azar Expresses Disappointment Over Team Queso

In a post-match interview, the Team Secret mid laner revealed that he was overwhelmed by Team Queso’s lackluster performance.

“I expected more, more from their performance and I was a bit disappointed,” Azar said.

Laner Baron added that since they took out Team Queso, the champion of the Wild Rift Origin Series in Europe, he now feels more confident to take down the best of the Horizon Cup 2021.

“I’m pretty confident that none of them can beat me,” Azar said.

Azar finished the second match with 13 kills and just 2 kills overall. He carried the team throughout the game as he repeatedly turned the tide of teamfights towards Team Secret while also taking out turrets in his lane, pressuring Team Queso to play defensively.

It will be interesting to see if Team Secret can continue its momentum and eventually secure a spot in the knockout stages of the Horizon Cup 2021.
