ASU refuses to support the left and bans Rittenhouse from participating

Many universities turned their backs on leftist protesters. Whether that step back means renaming buildings, apologizing for non-offensive statements, or even firing professors who do nothing more than tell the truth or honestly read a passage. contains “trigger words”, which universities stand up the crowd has woken up are few and far between.

Fortunately for conservatives who are attending or hoping to attend ASU, it appears to be a school run by administrators with a bit of a backbone.

When it was reported that Kyle Rittenhouse, the young man who had just been acquitted of self-defense and shot dead three rioters in Kenosha, was planning to attend ASU as an online student this fall, the Left-wing outrage was swift and severe.

Protesting students organized a protest in which they made many extravagant statements and request Rittenhouse withdrew. One socialist protester even held up a “Deadly America 2” poster.

Although Mr.Rittenhouse finally unsubscribed, he doesn’t do so because of school pressure, at least according to ASU, like Campus Reform Report in an article on the topic:

Just one day later lively student demonstration at Arizona State University during the student’s request that the Kyle Rittenhouse bar school not attend in the future, the school refused to do so.

In an email Thursday to Campus Reform, an ASU spokesman said that Rittenhouse’s application would be processed “like any other application” should he apply in the future.

“As a university that measures itself by who it includes and how successful they are, if he chooses to apply for admission in the future, his application will be processed like any other school. ,” the school told Campus Reform.

[…]“Kyle Rittenhouse did not go through the ASU admissions process but was enrolled in two public courses for this semester. University records show he is no longer enrolled, a status created by his own actions”, the school clarified.

So despite concerns that Mr. Rittenhouse has withdrawn, possibly due to animosity from ASU students, it is encouraging that at least one school board has the backbone to stand up to crowd and said that an innocent young man would not be treated negatively because of an unfortunate situation in which he was involved.

Unfortunately, the ASU backbone is as remarkable as it is an outlier.
