Asmongold ‘can’t imagine a world’ where he doesn’t make content

Although the thought of leaving Twitch has crossed Asmongold’s mind, the streamer has no plans to give up making content entirely. During last night’s broadcast, Asmongold said he doesn’t see himself stopping anytime soon.

“Here’s a good way of saying it: I can’t imagine a world where I don’t do content,” says Asmongold. “I thought about giving up a lot, but when I’m not happy with my stream or unhappy with something, I always think about giving up,” admits the Twitch streamer. “I think a lot of people do.”

Some major changes in Asmongold’s life have affected the lives of streamers. He went on hiatus after losing his mother and after becoming a co-owner of One True King Media (OTK), but Asmongold has returned to streaming both times.

Asmongold admitted he considered quitting, but told fans he often doesn’t believe he’s done well. “I always thought I was resting,” he said.

Streamers also don’t necessarily think about changing careers. “I think a shift in focus is actually a better way to say it,” Asmongold says. “There can be a period of time whenever I am fully committed to doing OTK things, yes, and that is my job.” In that case, Asmongold said he probably won’t be streaming every day, but he will continue to do content to some extent.

Despite the multitude of scares, Asmongold is still maintained on Twitch to stream content even if only on an alt account. Starting his historic broadcasting career in 2013, fans can expect Asmongold to stick with the platform for the foreseeable future.
