Arsenal Reportedly increased their offer for Aaron Ramsdale to £32m after two goalkeeper bids were rejected by Sheffield United.
Mikel Arteta wants to bring Ramsdale, 23, to the Emirates as current No 1 Gunners Bernd Leno continues to be linked with a move away from the north London.
Germany international Leno has spent three seasons at Arsenal but is still not fully convinced and could return to the Bundesliga with just two years left on his current contract.
Ramsdale was part of the Sheffield United team that finished in last place in the Premier League last season but Arsenal still appreciate him and reports say they have made multiple offers for his signature.
On Wednesday, reports claimed the Gunners were ready to tempt Sheffield United with a £30m offer, but now Time says the Championship club are paying £32m.
Sheffield United spent £18.5m on Ramsdale last summer and it is reported the club want to recoup almost half of that if they sanction his move to Arsenal.
