Arizona left-handed pitcher Riley Cooper transferring to LSU – Crescent City Sports

The exodus of gamers from Arizona following Jay Johnson to LSU continues.

Left-handed pitcher Riley Cooper introduced by way of Twitter Friday night that he’s transferring from the Wildcats to the Tigers.

In 29 appearances this previous season, The 6-foot-2, 264 pounder began two video games and posted a 3-0 document with a 4.88 ERA.

In 31.1 innings pitched, Cooper allowed 19 runs (17 earned) on 26 hits. He walked 13 and struck out 20 with a WHIP of 1.245.

Cooper might be a sophomore in 2022. He joins infielder Jacob Berry and pitcher Bryce Collins in following Johnson from Arizona to LSU.
