ArcheAge handover time is coming and Kakao has some important things they need us to know

We only have two days left ArcheAge left in the care of gamgio and the Glyph platform and officially transferred to Kakao Games. Of course, as the time approaches, things will happen to make sure the transfer goes as smoothly as possible. The first of those things has happened a bit now, but if you somehow missed the information on how to transfer your account from one service to another, you can Read about that in one of our previous articles.

The second has been announced more recently – it’s preloading. Remember, you won’t be logging in via Glyph anymore so another download will be required. You will also be required to have 100 GB of free space to accommodate it. Pre-download available today, via the Kakao Games site. Just make sure to read the requirements carefully – though, if you’ve played, you’re probably already good.

After the game launches on day 2, there will be Land Rush. It won’t happen right away, so don’t stress about it. You’ll have just over a week to prepare, as it’s scheduled for December 11 at 11:00 a.m. UTC for EUs and 1:00 PST for North Americans. The post announcing this includes a small FAQ addresses issues like how they plan to prevent hackers from claiming land before anyone else can, as well as the list of available servers. Some will be carried over while new ones are being added.
