ArcheAge Fresh Start Server Change, new bounty delayed or removed because of Powerleveling concerns

With ArcheAge opening tomorrow under the new Kakao Games publishing contract, the community was increasingly concerned about the potential for upgrading or even mining opportunities, with the company’s original plan to have new servers launch with some limitations. Today, they announced changes to the plans for starter servers, removing some bonuses and adding some level requirements.

While the original goal was to remove barriers and make everything more accessible, community feedback indicates that it’s simple for players to earn bonuses and have access to everything in the first place. may lead to the creation of bots or more characters to farm or other ways of exploitation. Most games, especially when it comes to having a withdrawal or signup shop, have concerns about the security of player data and against RMT. So the newly announced changes will help to limit some access and limit the possibility of damage.

Server for ArcheAge (Legacy) won’t open until some time in 2022. For ArcheAge: Untrained, the beginner server Nehliya (EU) will open tomorrow as planned and will have some region restrictions, raid and dungeon access. Kyrios, NA’s beginner server, will open on January 6.

The previously announced Double the Gain event will be removed from the new launch servers and there will be new limits on trades, auctions, mail, and archives. These are all initial limitations that the team will keep an eye on to work around possible issues.

When it comes to player-to-player transactions, some access will only happen at level 10 and level 30. You will be able to send mail, make private transactions or set all permissions. Your store is at level 10. When it comes to auctions, you’ll have to be level 30 to use the auctioneer.
