ArcheAge bans over 11,000 accounts for mining and RMT and Kakao promise more


Since switch to publishing ArcheAge and ArcheAge: Untrained Earlier this month, Kakao Games posted an update on recent exploits and bans. In a post called “Banwave” they announced that over 11,000 accounts have been banned for RMT and mining, with many more to come.

These bans are divided into more than 10,700 for alts mining alone. Given that 11,000 accounts have been banned, some alts and some primary, in addition to the 323 accounts used for spamming and RMT sales, the list is far from exhaustive. The announcement of these mass bans also indicates that it is still investigating several other accounts of similar violations and is expected to announce more bans and suspensions in the coming weeks.
