Arc Reminiscence Promotion Reveals Dec 31 Air Date

Official website for The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc released a commercial on Saturday, revealing that it will air on December 31.
The episode will air as a New Year’s special at 11:57 pm and will be accompanied by a special Happy New Year video. NS promotional film also revealed that the theme song, “Ripe Aster” will be performed by singer Kairi Yagi.
NS anime will adapt Flashback arc of the light novel, taking place in the eighth volume. Yūichi Nakamura and Saori Hayami will return to voice Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba, respectively. Newcomers Kikuko Inoue and Aya Endo will voice Miya Shiba and Honami Sakurai.
Studio 8bit, best known for their work on That time I was reincarnated as a Slime and Grisaia series’, will return to work on Arc Retrospective cartoon.
Director Risako Yoshida will return to work on the project after making the second part and The girl who calls the stars movie. Yoshida also directed Blue reflected ray and Diabolik lovers more, blood. Screenwriter Munemasa Nakamoto will return as well as the original character designer and animation director Kana Ishida.
Nakamoto worked on popular series such as Sword Art Online, Nisekoi, and NS Monogatari series along with his work on Abnormalities at Magic High School. Ishida has been responsible for the series’ character designs throughout its run, handling the art for the various manga adaptations.
Tsutomu Satō’s Abnormalities at Magic High School The light novel series was serialized in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko magazine from 2011 to 2020. The series has accumulated 32 collected volumes, with 10 additional side stories. Its popularity has inspired a handful of light novel spin-offs and a variety of manga, each adapting different arcs from the novel.
A 26-episode anime produced by Studio Madhouse first aired in 2014. 8bit will take over production of the series has the year 2017 The Irregular at Magic High School Movie: The Girl Called Stars, make animation Irregular at Magic High School: Traveler’s Arc series three years later. 13-episode adaptation Honor Student at Magic High School manga aired in July.
The light novel is licensed by Yen Press, with 17 of the 32 volumes translated into English to date. American Aniplex license for the series, with Crunchyroll performing the first season and Funimation providing both.
