EA Play Live 2021 has not left Apex Legends empty-handed fans. Respawn Entertainment has shared a new cinematic trailer from the upcoming installment of the new arrival and Legend: Seer.

Released on August 3, Appearances introduce Seer as a new playable character who is a master at gathering information from enemies and locating them.

More on Seer in the all-new cinematic trailer at EA Play Live, we learned more about the new character’s abilities. Seer’s biggest advantage over other legends is his ability enemy spotted and track them down, which is why he “spots opportunities that other legends might miss”.

In EA Play Live 2021, the game director behind Apex Legends revealed that Seer will have a heart rate sensor in the aiming state that will allow him to detect opponents.

When you spot an enemy, you activate the Seer’s drone to hunt down the opponent. This ability reaches its peak when Seer deploys hundreds of drones creating a trap-like area where any fast-moving opponents are tracked.

To get out of Seer’s sight, you need to move slowly until you’re within his detection range. The best situation for Seer would be to stand at the edge of the circle and hunt down opponents trying to escape elimination.

Apex Legends currently available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Xbox players do not need to have an active Xbox Live subscription to be able to play the game.
