Apex Legends Season 12 Nerfs and Buffs teased by developer

With Part 12 of Apex Legends Just recently, we’ve all been eager to know what nerfs and upgrades are coming in the new update.

Although we won’t know every detail until the official patch notes are released, Youtuber kjannaplays sat down with live balance designer John Larson and discussed some of the upcoming changes to the Apex Legends.

Apex Legends Developers Discuss Nerfs and Future Buffs

During the 20-minute interview, kjanna asked Larson various questions surrounding the weapon, the legend, and what fans can expect in the future. For those who don’t know, Larson handles all the balance changes to weapons and legends each update.

One of the most important balance changes expected in a future update is Gibraltar. Although Larson did not confirm the change for Season 12 in the interview, Apex Legends leaker ThordanSmash believes that a popular Legendary nerf will arrive at the beginning of the season or shortly after its release.

In the interview, Larson said that “we wanted to do some rebalancing to [Gibraltar’s] kit.” The Top the developer goes on to say that “people choose [Gibraltar] out of necessity, they didn’t have much fun with him.” Larson then went on to discuss in great detail what specific changes could be made to Legend.

Along with the Legend changes, fans can also expect the Spitfire LMG to leave the care packs with Season 12, but what exactly will replace it is still unknown. But one thing’s for sure, Rampage isn’t going to replace it as a nerf originally planned for the Sequel actually came out a few days ago. According to ThordanSmash’s theory, it wouldn’t make much sense for Rampage to replace Spitfire in care packs since Larson has stated that no further nerfs are expected.

When is Apex Legends Season 12?

Release date for Season 12 of Apex Legends Expected to be Tuesday, February 8, 2022. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed by Respawn Entertainment.
