While many of these weapons are considered viable in a skirmish, the Mozambican pistol is not generally considered one of them.

As part of the original arsenal included in Apex Legends, Mozambique is a famous gun in battle royale. However, it is memorable for the wrong reasons. This notorious firearm is an automatic three-barreled shotgun. While this may sound impressive, this gun quickly became known for its low and inconsistent damage levels after its release. In a Reddit post, a user named wolfegumbear shared a video from a recent game of Apex Legends. The clip takes place on World’s Edge map near Fragment West location. The video begins with the player camping outside the city limits with the rest of their team. Using the Amped Cover they deployed as a Rampart, wolfegumbear began shooting long shots at a player on a building at a distance. After firing a few rounds with the R-301, they switched to the Mozambican pistol. What happened next was unexpected, to say the least.

After receiving only a few hits from extreme distance using R-301 based on accuracy, wolfegumbear is less likely to occur by firing on enemies far away from Mozambique. However, that is not what happened. After carefully stacking guns, the player fires a shot at the far building. Suddenly, a message appeared on the screen. To wolfegumbear’s shock, they knocked each other hundreds of meters down with a Mozambican.

This incredible footage from wolfegumbear caught the attention of many members of Apex Legends community on Reddit. With over 2,400 backers in less than a day, many were amazed at the player’s luck. Others joked that the developers at Respawn Entertainment needed to downsize the shotgun.

As players continue to play the battle royale in Season 11, it will be interesting to see other amazing highlights that gamers capture on the battlefield.
