APEX LEGENDS‘MAGGIE COOL MAD DETAILS’
Mad Maggie is Apex Legend’s newest character, joining the fray in Season 12. She’s also a certified badass and an avid badass. “Uncompromising Freedom Fighters,” take the position of Attacker in the team.
One of the character’s cosmetic items includes a pair of slick sunglasses, which reveal an incredible detail in the game. If the player pays attention during the Legend Selection Screen, they can spot the reflection of the map in Mad Maggie’s sunglasses.
Initial details were pointed out by r/HolyRamenEmposystem, who tested different maps to see if the mirror image actually changed. Go from King’s Canyon to Olympus, then to Storm Pointthey confirm that the glass clearly changes depending on the map.
King’s Canyon’s glass shows rocks and trees on the map, while Olympus shows what looks like a Remake. Storm Point is clearly recognizable in the reflection, with the water stretching out in front of Mad Maggie. Possibly, this is because the game’s map loads before the launch sequence plays, allowing the Mad Maggie detail here to shine.
Overall, it’s a great little detail that shows just how much work goes into this game. The care taken to breathe life into these legends is amazing and makes this game even more amazing.
