Apex Legends players believe Sentinel still hasn’t been fixed after recent patch
Although the recent patch supposedly fixed the bolt-action Sentinel sniper, some players continued to have issues with its charging feature.
Are from Apex Legends Released in February 2019, many weapons have been introduced into the loot inventory. Among the guns added after the game was released were the Rampage LMG and the Sentinel bolt-action sniper. One of the unique characteristics of these weapons is that they have a charged mechanism that increases their damage output. However, this feature ran into problems with players in Season 11 of the battle royale.
About a week ago, the developers at Respawn Entertainment decided Temporarily removed Sentinel and Rampage LMG are from Apex Legends. This was done to fix an issue that would allow players to infinitely charge these guns during battle. Recently, weapons were added back to the game via a new patch. While the developers claim the issues have been fixed, some players think otherwise.
In a post on Reddit, a user named Maciejakk shared a video from shooting range in Apex Legends. According to Reddit users, they believe that one aspect of the charging feature for Sentinel snipers is still broken. While it is said to have fixed unlimited charging for weapons, another annoying bug seems to remain unresolved. In a 32-second clip recorded by Maciejakk, they reveal that the charge timer for the sniper seen in the bottom right corner of the screen does not correspond to the actual time it takes to increase weaponry. gas. This means that a player can accidentally abort a Sentinel charge by dashing in or firing a shot even when the charge meter is full.
This news is definitely disappointing for many fans, because of this Sentinel error is already a problem it’s been a while. Before the gun was temporarily removed, another player named dj_b2 posted on Reddit about the incident. While many hoped that it would be fixed when it was added back to the loot inventory, this new video from Maciejakk seems to prove otherwise.
In addition to this issue, players have started reporting that the Sentinel randomly charges during a game. “Sometimes I picked up a guard post, now it just automatically charges when I never press the button to do so,” noted one player. Furthermore, others claim that they have encountered this problem with Rampage LMG. This can be frustrating as it uses up resources like Thermite Grenades and Shield Cells that can be saved for later use in the game.
It will be interesting to see how Respawn Entertainment tackles these seemingly unresolved issues with the LMG Sentinel and Rampage in Apex Legends move forward. Given that they recently patched these guns, it doesn’t look like much of an immediate change will happen. However, if there’s enough community to find these bugs annoying, there’s always the chance that the developers can make a quick fix.
