Apex Legends’ newly arrived update introduces the new legendary named Seer

The sequel looks to continue that pace, adding a new legend named Obi aka “Seer” who appears to be a stealthy figure based on their moth-themed microdrones. Over the past week, Respawn has been revealing new lore details through various clues hidden in existing maps, with many lore commenting on the lore of Obi’s “curse”. In the trailer, we can see more details about Obi’s background, including that they were born with special glowing eyes that are considered “bad omens” by those around them.

Also, the new update is confirmed to include a new weapon called the Rampage LMG. This weapon is clearly the “latest invention” of the legendary Rampart, which will have “a surprising source of firepower”. Furthermore, the popularly requested Rated Arenas are finally coming in the next update, along with the updated World’s Edge map which will see some “major changes”.

Respawn will announce more details about the upcoming season titled “Arrival” on July 22, 2021 during the full Arrival launch trailer. If it’s anything like revealed last season’s premiere trailer, we’ll likely see new information on any map updates and additions, as well as new weapons and Seer abilities.
