One of the largest items that is kept Apex Legends At the forefront of the battle royale genre for a number of years has been Respawn’s commitment to providing consistent free updates. Every few months, Apex Legends has a large-scale update called Season, which also tends to bring a whole slew of new content to the game, ranging from a new playable legend to new maps, new game modes, and a ton of cosmetics. Spring, Apex Legends is about to start its 14th season called “Hunted” and the fans are very excited.

Along with a new Battle Pass, Season 14 adds the new sniper-focused Legend Vantage and some pretty significant changes to the Legendary Kings Canyon map. But aside from the new content, Apex Legends Season 14 actually makes some pretty big changes to the overall gameplay. Besides some serious changes to weapon mechanics, Apex Legends Season 14 massively increases the game’s level cap, something fans have been requesting since the game came out in 2019.

When Apex Legends First released in February 2019, Respawn set the level cap at 100. This meant that by the time players reached the max level, they should have unlocked around 30 Apex Packs, giving them a good chance of earning premium loot. eager apex Fans quickly hit that cap within the first few months of the game, and Respawn made the wise decision to raise that level cap to 500, allowing players to unlock 200 Apex Packs when they would complete their competitive journey.
However, three years have passed since then, for those who played Apex Legends From day one, even this increased level cap had been reached a long time ago. For years, for a long time apex Fans have been vocal about the need for an even higher level cap, and on August 9th, those fans will finally have their wish granted.
With the introduction of Apex Legends Season 14, the level cap is finally being raised again, and this time by a staggering amount. Technically, the max level cap is still set at 500, but now, once they reach that max level, players can choose to start over again, similar to call of Duty‘s prestige system. Players can make their account prestigious three times in total, which means the new level cap is actually 2000.
Of course, with this increase in tiers comes an increase in the number of Apex Packs that can be unlocked through progression. A total of 345 additional Apex Packs can now be unlocked through this new Prestige system. This means players should be able to unlock a total of 544 Apex Packs simply by progressing through all of the game’s levels naturally. An added icing on the cake is that every 500 packs unlocked is guaranteed to drop an heirloom, so dedicated players are guaranteed to unlock an heirloom at least once during their gameplay Apex Legends career.
While this level cap increase should only appeal to the most die-hards Apex Legends Gamers out there, it’s great to see that Respawn is finally including a feature that some fans have been desperately asking for for years, as it shows that the developer is listening closely to their fanbase. Featuring a new playable Legend, map changes, a number of weapon mechanic tweaks, and this new level cap, Apex Legends Season 14 could turn out to be one of the game’s best.
