Listen, I obviously don’t talk often enough when new characters are revealed, so here we are: Seer is my new lead in Apex Legends. Dibs was called. During tonight’s EA Play Live, Respawn Entertainment showed a new launch trailer for the battle royale’s next season, Arrival, and revealed a little more information about the next Legend Seer. As it turns out, he can track enemies just like Bloodhound, and his ultimate ability tracks enemies in a nice big orb.

Seer was announced just a few days ago, but this evening’s game director Chad Grenier revealed what some of his abilities do. When Seer aims down the line of sight, he has a heart rate sensor that gives him insight into where enemies might be. If you think you’ve found someone, you can send small drones from Seer’s chest and they’ll reveal the exact location of the enemy.

His ult once again sends those little drones to track further lunatics, creating a large blue orb that will track any enemies that pass through it. Grenier thinks Seer is a stealth-based character, which sounds pretty different from all the more aggressive characters we have right now.

In addition to Seer, next season we will also see new Arena maps, as well as a Ranked Arena mode where you can compete in 3v3. There are also secrets they won’t talk about. , but we’ll learn more about it later.

For more information on Apex, keep an eye out for the new game trailer featuring Seer that Respawn will release on Monday. Then, Apex Legends’ next season, The Arrival, begins on August 3.
