Apex Legends Leak hints at upcoming Maelstrom LMG

We are now almost two weeks into Season 12 of Apex Legendsbut there is still no sign of the Maelstrom LMG, which was the original data mined previously in Season 9.

However, thanks to a new set of dialogue found through in-game files, leakers believe the new LMG could be coming along with some other major gameplay changes.

Apex Legends New Dubbing Guidelines Suggest Maelstrom LMG Coming Soon

Based on Apex Legends leaker ThordanSmashNew dialogue from Ashes of Legends Season 11 could point to a bunch of new features and changes to come Apex Legends in the near future.

The first voice line to be mined heard Ash say “middle station here”, which certainly indicates that new intermediate stations will appear on the map for players to use and heal.

Ash’s second line of dialogue hears her say “maelstrom here”, which confirms that the previously leaked LMG is coming to the game soon. In fact, ThordanSmash believes the recent leak shows that the weapon is in fact ready to ship. Which means we could see it released during the current season.

The Maelstrom LMG was originally data mined in Season 9 as “Hail”, but the files were removed in a later patch along with the Rampage LMG and CAR SMG, both of which were released weapons in the game. .

A leaked image of the Maelstrom shows the weapon using light projectiles with the description “Fast-Fire Machine Gun. Ammo increases +5 with each kill”.
