Apex Legends fans want to see ammo-based LTM
With Season 11 of Apex Legends well underway, one fan suggesting unique LTMs to add to the battle royale would put an interesting spin on the battle.
A lot of things happened in Apex Legends in the last month following the release of Season 11. With the introduction of this season, many new content has been added, including Storm Point map, CAR SMG and new Legend Ash. While many gamers have enjoyed this seasonal update, it hasn’t stopped members of the community from suggesting new ways to improve the battle royale. One of these ideas includes a new type of LTM.
Since its release Apex Legends In early 2019, Respawn introduced several different LTMs into battle royale. From haunting Shadow Royale to single third person mode, the developers have tried to change the usual gameplay on various occasions. While many players enjoy these LTMs, fans have suggested a new game mode for the future.
In a recent post on Reddit, a user named MrFeature_1 started discussing a potential new game mode to add. Apex Legends. The Reddit user came up with the idea of an LTM where players could only use guns of one type of ammo. For example, they suggest that a game can only include Weapons with only heavy ammo, which means the player can only use Flatline, Hemlock, Prowler, 30-30 Repeater, CAR SMG, Rampage, and Wingman.
In addition to recommending a new ammo-specific game mode, MrFeature_1 consulted fellow gamers. Not surprisingly, many were quick to respond, coming up with their own ideas. With over 4,300 upvotes in just a few days, the majority of players seem to like the concept. Many people have theorized about how different bullet-specific games would play, with some suggesting that Bocek-only games might be appealing. Also, others believe that only pistols will add interest to the gameplay as it will force melee. Moreover, some people think that this mode will work well in Apex Legends like an April Fool’s Day LTM.
This is not the first time this type of game mode has been tested in battle royale. Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone there used to be ammo-specific LTMS in the past. It will be interesting if the developers consider adding a new LTM to the game based on these suggestions from the community.
In other LTM-related news, Respawn Entertainment recently revealed that the Winter Express mode will be returning. This new LTM is part of Upcoming Raiders Collection Event starting on December 7th. In addition to Winter Express, the update also brings some pirate-themed skins Apex Legends.
