Apex Legends bug causes Wraith’s Ultimate to disappear on World’s Edge
Players discover an unusual glitch that threatens to render Wraith’s powerful Ultimate ability ineffective on the World’s Edge map in Apex Legends.
Over the past 11 seasons, Apex Legends has seen its list of playable Legends grow significantly. While there were only eight characters at launch, there are now a whopping 19 in battle royale. Many of these Legends were made famous by Apex Legends community, but few have sustained popularity like Wraith.
There’s a reason Wraith is one of the most popular characters in Apex Legends, as her kit allows her team to reposition in a skirmish. Among her impressive abilities, she can use her Ultimate, the Dimensional Rift, to create a portal between two points on the battlefield. Using this Ultimate, she can allow her party to safely reposition themselves when trapped in a difficult situation. Unfortunately, an issue with this ability has arisen that threatens to ruin the battle royale for those who enjoy playing like the famous Legend.
Recently, players encountered a new glitch that caused Wraith’s Ultimate ability to disappear while playing on World’s Edge. Specifically, the bug appears near the walls at the Harvester location. Fortunately for players, Respawn Entertainment is aware of the situation. According to the developer, the issue is currently under investigation. While an exact time to expect a patch for the nasty bug has not been given, it could arrive next month around start Part 12 of Apex Legends.
These vanishing gates are definitely related to multiple Wraith power sources when dividing the Second Rated to Apex Legends located on World’s Edge. Although the incident occurs most often around the location of the Harvester, this POI is centrally located, making it unavoidable at times. Also, this glitch affects a large number of players as Wraith is bound to Octane which is Highest picked legend in the game with 12.5%. Unfortunately, it appears that some players may experience untimely death due to this bug as Wraith’s Ultimate can mean the difference between winning and losing in a fight.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only issue affecting late game. Besides this portal bug, many players have stated that Sentinel is still broken even after a recent patch. While the weapon no longer has an infinite charge, the charge timer for the gun is inaccurate. As a result, this incorrect reading could cause the player to inadvertently abort the weapon’s charging by firing at or firing.
It will be interesting to see how Developers at Respawn Entertainment Resolve the bugs that are affecting Apex Legends. Hopefully, a solution will soon be found so that players can continue to use Wraith in the coming days.
