For the second time in my career, Anthony Davis was kicked out of a game. It happened in the third quarter against Bulls in Monday. Davis just fell to the ground (shocker) after an unsuccessful tire attempt from Russell Westbrook. In the process, his shoe came off. When he put his boots back on, officials allowed the game to continue.
Chicago was on service, Davis started barking and got a pretty quick penalty after being called up for the second technical foul of the game.
It’s not like Davis’s absence hurts Lakers‘chance of winning. When he warmed up, the Lakers were down 21 points; they were overtaken by Davis’ in the 28th minute with 22 points and eventually lost the game with a score of 121-103. This happened three days after the Lakers lost Timberwolves by 24.
Davis is having a pretty good season in every area except shooting. He only hit 20% of his 3s. If you throw away last season, when he played just 22 games, this year has been Davis’ worst scoring season since his rookie year, according to Cleaning the Glass, specifically because of the percentage What are those 3 dismal points and his worst mid-range. -shooting statistics since, again, his rookie campaign.
