Wordle’s answer 212 is “PROXY.”

“PROXY” describes someone’s authority to represent others. This is most commonly seen in voting. It is also found in the internet language, where a proxy server can act as a middleman between the user and the internet.

There’s no really easy way to get around this, and I suspect many people will have trouble identifying the letters. As always, I started with “ARISE” to remove the most common letters. Only “R” was confirmed, although thankfully it was in the right place. Next, it’s time to shorten the existing vowels. Guessing a word by the letter “O” confirms its presence. Then it’s a case of finding “P” and “Y.” Then the “X” remains.

Although the word “PROXY” is certainly hard to come by, players must remember to use the six guesses wisely. You can try every letter of the alphabet at least once, so the first priority is to get rid of the letters.

We suspect that many players won’t get “PROXY” until the final guess is made. Others won’t manage it at all, but that’s nothing to worry about, because tomorrow there will be another one. Alternatively, if you want to try again, open a new Incognito tab or clear your cookies to start over.
