Announcement of manga adaptation for 2nd year novel

The manga will adapt the 2nd year sequel with illustrations by Shia Sasane.
ONE manga adaptation by Shōgo Kinugasa’s Class of the Elite: Year 2 The light novel series will begin serialization on December 25, the January 2022 issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine is revealed.
Class of the elite ran in Media Factory’s MF Bunko J printing plant from 2015 to 2019, with a total of 14 volumes collected. NS Year 2 The sequel series continues the main cast from the original and began serialization in January 2020. The light novel series has accumulated six collected volumes to date.
ONE manga adaptation of the first light novel series illustrated by Yuyu Ichino began serialization in 2016. The series is also serialized in Monthly Comic Alive with the 11th volume being released in June. Shia Sasane will handle the images. illustration for Year 2 manga, taking over for Ichino.
A 12-episode anime adaptation of the light novel series produced by Studio Lerche aired in Summer 2017. The studio is best known for its work on Danganronpa: The Animation, Assassination Classroom, and Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun.
Seiji Kishi directs the series with Ryō Takahashi handling the staging. Kishi is best known for command Persona 3 series as Persona 4: Animation and most recently Fate / Grand Carnival. Takahashi has worked on several anime including Citrus, Arifureta, and JC Staff produced the anime, Sing a little harmony.
NS The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll and Funimation in English. Seven Seas, which licenses the light novels and manga in English, released the 9th volume of the light novels in September. The manga’s first volume will ship in February with the first volume of the manga. Year 2 The light novel is scheduled to release in May 2022.
