Anime Con NYC 2021 – Guest, Schedule, Time

Anime Con NYC 2021 is back with a live event this year. The conference will be held this weekend from November 19 to 21 at the Javits Center.

Anime NYC has been New York City’s premiere anime convention since 2017. After the pandemic, the show is returning with top talent from both the English and Japanese sides of anime – the voice actors, directors, composers and others.

I’m sure a lot of fans who are looking forward to the event have a lot of questions surrounding it so I’ve put together useful information in this post.

Guest of Anime NYC 2021

Several guests will be present at the conference, including famous anime creators such as Shinji Aramaki, Arthell Isom; composers like Yuki Hayashi, voice actors like Amber Lee Connors, and several other famous YouTubers and guests.

Anime NYC Schedule

This year’s anime convention in New York is packed with events from various anime studios like Kodansha, Crunchyroll, and special events hosted by popular anime like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Anime Con NYC 2021 Hours

Here are the operating hours when the conference will be open to visitors on different dates:

Friday, November 19:

• 10am – Building and Registration Open
• 1pm to 7pm – Gallery and Artist’s Lane
• 1pm to 10pm – Tables and Events

Saturday, November 20:

• 8am – Building and Registration Open
• 10am to 7pm – Gallery and Artist’s Lane
• 10am to 10pm – Tables and events

Sunday, November 21st

• 8 am – Building and Registration open
• 10am-5pm – Gallery and Artist’s Lane
• 10am to 5pm – Tables and events

What to expect?

Anime NYC 2021 will host industry panels from Crunchyroll, Yen Press, and GKIDS that will include gems like Black Trailblazer in Anime, Anime to Hollywood, and Japanese Tea 101.

There will be quite a few anime premieres that you can look forward to – Love of Kill, ODDTAXI (voice), In the Land of Leadale, and Eastern, Et cetera.

Another thing enthusiasts can look forward to is My Hero Academia The official concert will feature live musicians performing brand new pieces and composer Yuki Hayashi will be visiting from Japan for the event.

Crunchyroll is holding a special event to celebrate the 1000th episode of One Piece by treating guests to a special screening of episodes 998, 999, and 1000, plus fun things like fan videos, quiz contests, and more! Event attendees can enjoy Japanese food, play games, and art at the Anime NYC 2021 event.
