Anime Bleach Thousand Year Blood War will release in October 2022
The series will air late next year, with most of the original staff and cast returning.
A new promotional video and main image for the upcoming Bleach: Blood Battle of a Thousand Years anime has been released in Shueisha’s Jump Festa ’22 event on Saturday.
The series will premiere around October 2022 and will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and related stations. Upcoming anime will include the rest of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga, starting from where the original animated series left off.
The event also revealed the staff and cast. Studio Pierrot will return to animate the series, although director Noriyuki Abe will be replaced by Tomohisa Taguchi. Taguchi is best known for his work Akudama Drive, Double star exorcism, and Monday and Wednesday Persona 3 movie. Original character designers and composers Masashi Kudo and Shiro Sagisu will return.
Masakazu Morita and Fumiko Orikasa will reprise their roles as Ichigo and Rukia, corresponding. Most of the original actors will reprise their roles, as will those who played the characters in Bleach: Brave Souls The game is not in the anime yet.
The Bleach the final part of the manga Blood War Thousand Years is the final part of the series, lasting from episodes 55-74. A 15-minute synopsis video covering all the major events in the original series has been released along with the new material.
Tite Kubo’s Bleach posted many times in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump and Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001-2016. The beloved series was one of the most successful manga series of its time, ranking 11th among the best-selling manga series in history.
Studio Pierrot produced the anime adaptation from 2004-2012. The series spanned 366 episodes and inspired four anime films that were released between 2006 and 2010. The popularity of the manga and anime has led to many game adaptations and spin-offs, light novels, and a video game. playing cards, and a musical titled; Rock Musical Bleach.
Next years Bleach’s Finally, Kubo contributed most notably to the character designs for 2019 Sakura Wars reboot, and already started work on a new series; Burn the witch. The series begins as a one-off shot and takes place in the same universe Bleach. It will eventually be developed into a full-fledged series, which will begin serialization in 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump. One collected volume has been released to date.
