Andrade and Cody Rhodes crash into a burning table on AEW Dynamite »FirstSportz

Cody Rhodes is an American professional wrestler who also plays the role of Executive Vice President of the All elite wrestling. He performed on the WWE main roster from 2007 to 2016, before requesting his release. In 2019, he was announced as an AEW wrestler and their EVP. Rhodes continues to be the initiator AEW TNT Champion.

Rhodes has twice held this title in the AEW. Since his second loss, he has been more involved in non-title fights. Cody even had a feud with the legendary basketball player Shaquille O’Neal. Rhodes is currently feuding with another former WWE Superstar – Andrade El Idolo. In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, La Sombra faces the American Nightmare in a fight on the streets of Atlanta.

The two Superstars engaged in a brutal duel that ended in Andrade and Cody Rhodes crashed into the burning table. Rhodes connects a Reverse Suplex from the top rope to the flaming table, and wins through pinfall. Interestingly, the table was burned by Brandi Rhodes. The match has begun with Andrade attacking Cody, while the second is entering his entrance. They brawled into the crowd, using trash cans, tables, chairs, steel steps, a golden shovel and a laptop too! A sledgehammer and a testing machine are also pretty close to working. But overall, both artists delivered one of the most brutal fights of the year.

Cody Rhodes discusses his future with AEW

Earlier this week, Cody Rhodes appeared in an interview with Sports Illustrated, where he was asked about his future as a wrestler and as Executive Vice President. The former WWE Superstar didn’t say much when he mentioned that he would stick with AEW.

“For now, my future is with AEW. AEW would be very strange without the core members of the revolution. We all still talk. We all have this admiration for each other. I cannot see myself anywhere else, and I am very optimistic about what the future holds.” refers to the Executive Vice President.
