For some reason, one of the most consistently watchable genres if done properly is legitimate thrillers, because there are so many types of expected short stories that could stand out if they were approach in a unique way.

Part of that appeal is down to the familiar, but the twists and turns can often keep you guessing until the final act. It also offers ample opportunity for epic performances, epic monologues and more, which may be why 2007 was largely forgotten. Fracture skyrocketed the most watched list on Netflix.

Follow FlixPatrol, the film has risen 37 places since yesterday, an event that is difficult to predict. Ryan Gosling’s nimble prosecutor is assigned one last case before he takes on his new job, and looks like an easy win in court after Anthony Hopkins’ Ted Crawford shot his wife in the head.

However, the defendant had a lot of tricks, which led to a game of cat and mouse. Fracture earned a solid 71% score on Rotten Tomatoes and earned $92 million at the box office on a $10 million budget when it was first released, but it became an overlooked entry and goes unnoticed in an oversaturated genre, though Netflix subscribers are clearly looking to remedy that.
