American BMX rider Connor Fields was taken to the hospital on Friday at the Tokyo Olympics after a scary crash in the course of the males’s semifinal warmth.
The crash occurred on the primary flip of the race, simply 9 seconds in, as Fields collided with two different bikers whereas touchdown from a bounce. Fields appeared to hit the again tire of one other biker.
As he fell, he prompted one thing of a pile-up as different riders crashed into him. The opposite riders seemed to be okay.
Fields was handled by medical employees earlier than being taken to the hospital. There have been no additional updates on his standing.
The Olympics Twitter account wished Fields and girls’s rider Saya Sakakibara, who was concerned in a crash, effectively.
