Amazon Prime Free Games for December 2021 Revealed
Amazon revealed eight free games currently available for Prime Gaming subscribers to claim on Twitch, including Frostpunk and YouTubers Life.
November 2021 is over and December has arrived, bringing with it many of the biggest holidays of the year. It has also brought a new round of free games offered to subscribers Amazon Prime, via Twitch. Like recent months, apart from the year Main game free games subscribers expect, additional games have been added in partnership with GOG.com and Electronic Arts’ Origin platform. This brings the total to eight free Prime Gaming games for December 2021.
For starters, Amazon has partnered with EA to offer another free game through Original computer store front for December. Free games for December 2021 will be Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was originally released in 2010, and then revised for a re-release in 2020. Remastered version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit added crossplay for multiplayer, as well as some new car DLC. Twitch users must redeem games through Origin, or any claimed game tokens will expire at the end of December.
Similar to how Amazon has partnered with EA, it has also partnered with GOG.com. CD Projekt’s PC game store will offer two free games through Prime Gaming in December. Those games are Frostpunk, a post-apocalyptic strategy game, as well as a third-person action game Journey to Planet Savage. Both games must be redeemed via GOG or they will expire at the end of the month. Note that once redeemed, both games can be downloaded DRM-free.
That leaves five additional free games available through Twitch’s own game service. Those games include Morkredd, Spellcaster University, YouTuber’s life, Shoot dead zombies in rebellion without conflict, as well as The Story of Monkey Island, has been divided into five separate chapters. All of these can be claimed directly from Twitch without having to redeem them on another storefront.
As always, Prime Gaming has a lot more to offer Twitch users through December beyond these free games. Bonuses and cosmetics for the game include League of Legends: Wild Rift, Dead by daylight, and Apex Legends will be added this month, and as always, there’s a free monthly subtitle for subscribers’ favorite Twitch channels.
It was a good month overall for Twitch Subscribers, as eight free-to-unlock games and a variety of new cosmetics join Amazon Prime’s standard shipping benefit. Players can expect to hear more about December Main game bonuses in the coming weeks.
