Clothing brand Alpha Industries is teaming up with A Bathing Ape’s AAPE line, offering again seven military-inspired pieces that seamlessly blend a military aesthetic with street prints.
The duo’s first product line was released in the fall of 2019, before Alpha Industries combined with its IT retail partner in early fall 2020. Alpha signed a long-term partnership agreement with IT to oversee Oversaw marketing, planning, and e-commerce for the company in China, an agreement that led to the company’s growth in that region.
The latest product boasts a combination of the reversible MA-1 jacket (also available in quilted versions), an M-65 lining, quilted pants, an astronaut jacket and a sweatshirt. hoodie, features camo buckle details with BAPE’s recognizable graduation camo and mixed media sections in black and olive green lines.
“We worked with all of our collaborators to tell authentic stories through capsule collections rather than just focusing on jacket,” said Matt Pantoja, Brand Manager at Alpha Industries. “A Bathing Ape has a heritage of influencing streetwear; Through our partnership with BAPE and AAPE, we enjoy exploring the influence the military style has had on their design aesthetic throughout the years. ”
With prices ranging from $150 for quilted trousers to $475 for an MA-1 jacket, the Alpha Industries x AAPE collection is available to purchase on AlphaIndustries.com and at AAPE stores globally.
