With cold weather in many parts of the world, Pokémon Spheal Clap will feel at home in time Pokémon Go Community Day.
On January 16th, players will have the chance to encounter Spheal more often and will also benefit from triple capture experience and three hour duration for Incense and Lure Modules.
During the event, any Spheal evolves into Sealeo and Walrein then learns event-specific moves Powder Snow and Icicle Spear. These new moves will only be obtainable using Elite Fast and Elite Charged TM on Walrein after the event ends.
As usual, there’s also new event-specific Field Research to pair with the $1 Community Day Special Research Story — The Sphere Deal. These are all research quests and rewards for both.
