Pokemon Diamond Brilliant Shining Pearl Mr. backlot

In Pokemon Mansion are various rooms with items hidden in the trash and even a room to heal the group’s Pokemon. On the right wing of Pokemon Mansion is Mr. Backlot, who is very proud of his Garden of Trophies. After receiving the National Dex, Mr. Backlot will talk about a never-before-seen Pokemon roaming around his Cup Garden. This Pokemon changes daily and some Pokemon are exclusive to Trophy Garden, As if Pokemon mascot Pikachu. Therefore, it’s best to check and see if he mentions a Pokemon that BDSP players may be interested.

To enter the Cup Garden, just go straight to the back entrance. The The following Pokemon can be found in the Cup Garden before the National Dex:

Name Level Occurrence rate (time of day)
Pichu 16 ten%
Pikachu 18 30% (morning); ten% (day and night)
Staravia 16-17 20% (day)
Roselia 16-17 30%
Kricketune 16-17 ten% (morning / day); 20% (night)

The Pokemon mentioned by Mr. Backlot are called everyday Pokemon, and they all have Occurrence rate 5%. It can be frustrating trying to catch Pokemon every day because they are randomly arranged and it is easy to miss the day they appear. All daily Pokemon are level 16 or 18.

Daily Pokemon don’t have a specific day of the week they spawn. This requires the player to continuously register with Mr. Backlot until the Pokemon they want appears in the Trophy Garden. One way to reset Pokemon daily is save the game before talking to Mr. Backlot. If he mentions daily Pokemon that the player doesn’t want, they can soft reset/reload their save file and talk to him again.
