Pokémon UNITE, a MOBA game developed in partnership with TiMi Studios and Tencent’s The Pokémon Company, is in the works — and with it comes a ton of unique abilities.
UNITE no need to follow the same rules as a standard Pokémon game. Instead, it will play around on its list more than most other games Pokémon games often have to do.
UNITE is available on both Nintendo Switch and mobile, with full cross progression available for players looking to swap between platforms. The game will also give players the ability to change the appearance of their Pokémon and trainers, features that have now been confirmed for the first time.

One of the main mechanics of the game, like with any MOBA, is leveling up your character to gain more powerful abilities as the match progresses. And in Unite, that is also related to the mechanism of evolution from Pokémon.
Players will start with the Pokémon’s first form in most cases and must level it up as they did in one of the main titles if they want it to learn new moves and evolve. That means a lot of the list will be made up of Pokémon that have three stages of development, but not quite – as shown by Snorlax being on the list.
