All major third-party games will be available on Xbox Game Pass on Day One in 2022
Xbox Game Pass continues to grow into 2022 with games like Sniper Elite 5, Total War: Warhammer 3, STALKER 2 etc in daily releases.
Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its game library with both old and new titles. Not only every game released by Xbox Game Studios arrives on day one Game Passbut a growing collection of titles and third-party publications.
It seems like almost every week Xbox announces more third-party titles that launch day one on Game Pass. Some are big hit titles, while others are less well known. Several major third-party games have been announced for 2022, some with specific release dates and more that are sure to follow as the year goes on.
Total War: Warhammer 3 – February 17
Latest entry in bulk Total War The franchise will launch this February. Fans will be brought back the world of Warhammer for the conclusion of Total War trilogy, in which the player can manage huge armies in Warhammer universe and send them out to destroy their enemies. It is set as one of the Total War game so far by combining all three Total War: Warhammer campaign map into one giant game via post-launch free DLC. There’s no long wait as the game is slated to launch on February 17th on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
STORY 2: The Heart of Chernobyl – April 28
The long-awaited fourth title in STAFF franchise is almost here. EXPERT 2 is set to blend first-person shooter gameplay with horror and role-playing simulators, similar to games like Metro Exodus. The game looks impressive, so for fans unfamiliar with the horror experience, it might be a good idea to have the lights on. After a 13-year wait, the game will finally release on April 28 on Game Pass for consoles and PC.
Two Point Campus – May 17
In 2018, Two Point Studios rescue Two Point Hospitala spiritual successor to the hospital management game Theme Hospital. Now Two Point is back, but this time it will take the player to the university. Two-point basis will task players with building their own university, managing day-to-day operations and providing students with the best – or worst – education they can get. Management game fans should be busy when Two-point basis launches day one on Game Pass for console and PC on May 17.
A Plague Tale: Requiem – 2022
Players can go on an adventure in a brutal world, twisted with the upcoming sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. A Plague Tale: Requiem will continue the story of Amicia and Hugo as they travel through a world twisted by supernatural forces. The game will take players to all-new regions and cities as they battle to survive and learn more about Hugo’s curse. The game is set to launch sometime in 2022 on Game Pass.
Atomic Heart – 2022
Atomic heart is a brand new IP from Mundfish developer. The game is set in a world where the Soviet Union has undergone a technological revolution and the player must fight against its malfunctioning robots. They will be exploring a huge open world and uncovering the mystery of why the robots are broken. The game is set to launch sometime in 2022 on Game Pass, and hopefully it’ll turn out to be as exciting as some of the first trailers suggest.
Sniper Elite 5 – 2022
Next title in Sniper Elite The franchise will launch sometime in 2022. Players will once again be placed in the shoes of World War 2 Lieutenant Karl Fairburne, tasked with completing covert sniper operations. Although not many games have been released yet, but fans can expect more sniper chaos with slow motion mechanics. Game Pass subscribers will be able to get the sequel on day one.
Slime Rancher 2 – 2022
Sometimes all people want to do is sit back, relax, and play a quiet game. If Slime Rancher 2 is anything like the first game, it will give fans a chance to do just that. Developed by Monomi Park, Slime Breeders puts players in the shoes of Beatrix LeBeau as they traverse a beautifully stylized world in search of slime. With a trusty Vacpack by his side, players will catch all kinds of slimes and build their own farm. They’ll have to uncover the region’s mysteries and prepare for anything slimes can throw at them when the game launches later this year.
Detective Frog: The Complete Mystery – 2022
Although it may not be everyone’s cup of tea Detective Frog: The Entire Mystery may just surprise everyone. It will combine all three Detective Frog games into one package: Haunted island, The case of the invisible magicianand Corruption in Cowboy County. The player is a frog Detectives have to solve crimes in simple but hilarious situations. The first two mysteries are now available on Steam for anyone who wants to try them out before the collection launches Xbox Game Pass.
