All Death Sworn Skins in League of Legends (Ranked) – FandomSpot

As the name suggests, the Death Sworn skin line is all about death, ghosts and edginess.

It essentially turns champions into vengeful spirits determined to plunge living souls into the depths of Hell.

So yes, it basically gives champions a “thresh” glow.

Sure to satiate your inner Edgelord, these skins are also great for Halloween (or just for giving your enemies nightmares).

So let’s take a closer look at these fabulously spooky skins.

7. Reaper Hekarim

Released: 04/17/2012
Price: 975RP

Reaper Hecarim is definitely showing its age, but overall it’s still a solid skin.

It essentially gives Hecarim a creepier look, with a demonic skull head, executioner-style armor, and a nightmare-inducing scythe.

His whole body also has an eerie glow.

Overall though?

There is nothing more to say about this skin. It’s not the most unique out there.

It’s also quite expensive considering it’s essentially just a spooky version of the base model.

6. Reaper Soraka

Released: November 5, 2014
Price: 1350RP

I’m not 100% convinced of this skin.

It feels a bit like an insult to Soraka’s character.

I mean, it basically turns Soraka – a champion who’s all about saving the world and healing her allies with bananas – into a shinigami.

But if you can overlook the apparent disregard for Soraka’s personality, it’s a pretty nifty skin.

The edgy look is a refreshing take, and while the character model is simple, it’s well designed and adds a flair of mystery.

Also, the voice filter makes Soraka sound like a vengeful ghost.

To top it off?

The animations are sophisticated and packed with a surprising amount of spooky detail.

5. Underworld Wukong

Released: October 28, 2014
Price: 1350RP

Underworld Wukong has all the qualities one would expect from an undead being; spooky green skin, a scythe, and dark, battle-worn armor.

It’s a nice spooky design overall, but it falls a bit flat.

Mainly because the character model could use some scarier textures; For now, it looks like Wukong just painted himself blue and green.

The animations are also pretty lackluster.

But hey, have you ever dreamed of being Jack the undead monkey from Pirates of the Caribbean?

The skin delivers on all fronts (and yes, I’ll be silently judging you).

4. Zed sworn to death

Released: October 25, 2017
Price: 1350RP

This skin definitely has the quirky, spooky vibe we’re all here for, but it strays a bit too far from Zed’s character model for my liking.

It even swaps Zed’s iconic shuriken for swords (and wolverine claws).

That said, there’s still a lot to appreciate about this skin.

The splash art is a spooky masterpiece, the recall is totally badass, and the particle effects feel clean and spooky.

Also, the Ultimate is flashy and lets you literally suck the souls out of your enemies (move, Thresh).

3. Underworld Twisted Fate

Released: October 26, 2012
Price: 975RP

This skin is basically a spooky version of Twisted Fate’s base model, and that’s what I’m here for.

I mean, what’s not to love about a phantom cowboy wreaking havoc on the Rift?

Every element is extremely polished and the character model is mysterious, spooky and full of killer details.

I also really love how Riot even gave Twisted Fate’s maps a spooky look.

Unfortunately, while badass, I can’t give this skin a higher spot – there’s another TF skin that addresses the exact same subject, but it looks a thousand times better.

And yes, I’m talking about Crime City Nightmare.

2. Deathsworn Katarina

Released: October 25, 2017
Price: 1350RP

This skin transforms Katarina into the empress of the undead realm.

Everything about the character model screams “a powerful, otherworldly being,” from her glowing blades and metallic shoulder pads to her flowing, ethereal hair.

The animations are also a visual treat like no other.

Auto-attacks are satisfying and ultra-flashy, her Q leaves a trail of ghostly mist, and the ult is basically a whirlwind of daggers, dark energy, and demonic hues.

Even the recall is captivating.

Also, the sound effects are insanely smooth and clear.

My only real gripe is that the skin’s splash art is a little lackluster; I would have liked something darker and scarier.

1. Sworn to death Victor

Released: October 25, 2017
Price: 1350RP

Viktor is practically the definition of an Edgelord, so it’s no surprise that this skin – which increases his nervousness tenfold – suits him so well.

Instead of a scientist who took his research too far, he’s now a ghastly specter wielding badass armor, a ghostly weapon, and the Eye of Satan.

The animations are excellent as well.

The W looks like a summoning ritual and is covered in spooky runes, while the E is a flashy spooky beam that burns through the ground.

And the ultimate?

It’s basically a portal to the underworld.
