All characters in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legend: Arceus gives the game a mix of new and old. There are many familiar Pokémon returning to capture once again, along with some new faces. But it’s not just the new Pokémon, you’ll also meet new trainers in the Hisui region.

The story of Pokémon Legend: Arceus features many important characters, some of which are ancestors of characters that Pokémon fans may have encountered in previous Sinnoh games.

Many of the characters in this new story can be divided into groups. These are all the characters that you will meet on your journey.

Galaxy Exploration Team

Commander Kamado

Commander Kamado is the leader of the Galactic Exploration Team. Although he may be harsh with his words and actions, Kamado has built trust within the group through his experience and success as their leader.

Captain Cyllene

You will report back to Captain Cyllene a lot during your adventures in the Hisui region as she is the leader of the Survey Corps, which the player joins in the game. Like Commander Kamado, Captain Cyllene is a stern leader.

Akari & Rei

Depending on the look you choose when going on your adventure, Akari or Rei will appear as another Survey Corps recruit following you as the story’s protagonist. Together the two will find a way to document all the species of the Hisui region.

Professor Laventon

Professor Laventon is another member of the Survey Corps, this time working in their research department. You’ll visit a lot of the Professor and even get your first Pokémon as a gift from him.

Diamond family

Adaman

Adaman is the leader of the Diamond Clan with his companion Pokémon Leafeon. As the clan’s leader, Adaman makes a lot of decisions that ultimately clash with their rival, the Pearl Clan.

Maybe not

When it comes to traversing the seas, Basculegion is key, and the person responsible for taking care of this powerful Pokémon is Iscan. Members of the Diamond Clan aren’t too fond of Ghost-type Pokémon, which can cause problems while adventuring.

Arezu

Another member of the Diamond Clan, Azeru is another warden present in the Hisui region with the job of taking care of a noble Pokémon.

As a member of the Diamond Clan, Mai is tasked with taking care of the ancient Wyrdeer that inhabits the Obsidian Fieldlands. You wouldn’t have met Mai without her companion Munchlax, who has been by her side since day one.

Pearl Clan

Irida

The head of the Pearl House is Irida. Another individual with plans to face the vast Hisui region, Irida leads her clan with her Ice-type companion Glaceon at her side.

Lian

Caring for Kleavor is Lian, a young member of the Pearl Clan who has proven himself to be a gifted Pokémon trainer.

Ginkgo Guild

Ginter

If you are after rare items then you will want to consult Ginter. The leader of the Ginkgo Guild that sells rare items and special finds he collects while journeying to the Hisui region.

Volo

During your travels, you will likely meet another member of the Ginkgo Guild, the traveling merchant Volo. If you are looking for special items, be sure to visit him.
